Identifying errors in the Erudine configuration file
Purpose
To identify errors in the Erudine configuration file, so that you can fix them.
Theory
If there is an error in the Erudine configuration file, a message box will be displayed when you start the Erudine Behaviour Engine, as follows:
If you are running a headless server, then details of the error can be found in the log file.
When the Erudine Behaviour Engine is started, it will attempt to create any connections or services specified by object description properties. If any of these operations fails (e.g. if a database connection could not be established) the Erudine Behaviour Engine will not start up and an error message will be displayed describing what the problem is, as follows:
The Erudine Behaviour Engine can only be started when all problems in the configuration file have been resolved.
