Importing requirements
Purpose
To import system requirements into a knowledge model.
Theory
This exercise teaches you how to import system requirements from one of the following formats:
- Conceptual graph (.cg)
- Comma separated values (.csv)
- Tab delimited file (.txt)
In this exercise, you will import the system requirements from the Schengen Without Behaviour knowledge model into a new knowledge model, using the CG file you created in the previous exercise.
Actions
To import system requirements:
- Click the New Model
button, to display a blank knowledge model screen. - Select Requirements Manager from the View menu.
The Requirements Manager screen is displayed on top of the Conclusion & Justification screen and you can alternate between the two using the Windows Taskbar. - Select Import As > Import CG from the File menu.

- Navigate to the Training\Introduction folder in the Erudine root directory.
- Select Requirements.cg from the list of files and click the Open button, to import the system requirements.
The system requirements exported from the Schengen Without Behaviour knowledge model are now displayed in the new knowledge model and can be viewed and modified as required.

- Close the knowledge model without saving changes.
