Locating the ERUDINE_HOME folder

Purpose

To locate the folder in which the Erudine Behaviour Engine is installed, which is called ERUDINE_HOME.

Theory

The ERUDINE_HOME folder is the default folder in which the Erudine Behaviour Engine is installed on a Windows machine.

The default location for ERUDINE_HOME is C:\Program Files\Erudine, and the Erudine Behaviour Engine is automatically saved in this location when installing the software using the setup.exe file.

ERUDINE_HOME contains a variety of files, which are referred to throughout this Training Guide, but most importantly the Erudine configuration file. See Locating the Erudine configuration file for more details.

To find the location of ERUDINE_HOME, if required:

  1. Open the Erudine Behaviour Engine.
  2. Select About Erudine from the Help menu.
  3. Select the Setting tab.
  4. Scroll to the bottom until you reach the Application Information section.
The Class path shows where ERUDINE_HOME is located.
